AWARDS: EvolveMKD Named Among PR News’ Top Places to Work in PR

NEW YORK, Dec. 07, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — EvolveMKD, a multi-disciplinary marketing and communications agency, was recognized yesterday by PR News as a Top Place to Work in PR at an awards luncheon at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Evolve was among 62 agencies and in-house communications teams honored in this year’s awards program. “This honor is a testament to what we have done to foster a creative and collaborative work environment,” said Megan Driscoll, founder and CEO of Evolve. “From the beginning, I wanted this agency to be a safe place where everyone would be encouraged to communicate openly in a flexible and healthy workspace. Our success with our clients and this award prove that we are accomplishing that goal.”

Evolve started in September 2014 inside Megan’s New York City apartment with four staff members and three clients. The agency will close 2016 in a custom-designed space in New York’s fashionable Chelsea neighborhood with over 20 clients and a full time staff of 18 with a variety of communications and marketing skills in traditional and digital PR.

Evolve, is a boutique PR agency currently run by and staffed entirely by women, providing senior-level, hands-on, personalized attention to clients in the health care and beauty space.

When Driscoll started the agency, she knew through her experience in working for other PR firms that the greatest motivation for getting the best out of her employees was to offer the best to them. Free health insurance and cell phone plans, extremely flexible vacation and holiday schedules, paid maternity leave, advancement opportunities, career coaching, and even an in-house beauty bar are among the perks that await employees at Evolve.
